Little Black Dress
The LBD Collection came out as an idea after our store and workroom was flooded back in 2010. Most of our stock was destroyed and we wanted to make a mini-collection for the store that represented something essential.
The LBD collection was half the price of our usual dresses and came in day and night options.
The Bombshell Dress was something I draped from a bolt of jersey on the mannequin by eye.
It was hugely successful and was worn by the beautiful Lesley MM Blume (Huffington Post Style Writer) to a gala in New York.
We continued the LBD line until I left NZ in 2012.
